The planet is rendered in Terragen - but please don't ask me, how I created the ring. You would think, I'm totally crazy and have too much time ;).

I prefer this one to many of your others because there is something in the image with real detail to draw your eye too, by that I mean the asteroid belt ofc. also I have to agree with earlier comments that the red planet could do with some detail.

The asteroids look really great - they outshine the planet which isn't as great im affraid. Would love to know how you made the roids though :p
